Job Description :
The DEVOPS Engineer (Azure, AKS, Terraform, CI/CD, Docker) will possess a breadth of EXP across infrastructure and or development who has a bias towards INFRASTRUCTURE AUTOMATION especially using KUBERNETES and CONTAINERIZATION and be passionate about continual improvement, innovating automation and driving efficiency in everything they do.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise :
5+ yrs of Managing environments in AZURE from Dev to Production is MUST.
KUBERNETES and DOCKER, container automation experience, deploying KUBERNETES CLUSTERS in the cloud preferably AZURE (Azure Kubernetes Service / AKS)
Hands on EXP with CICD and AUTOMATION tools such as Azure DevOps, Terraform, GitLab
Hands on EXP with PROVISIONING LANGUAGES such as PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Bash
Proven track record of deploying / running / troubleshooting DOCKER CONTAINERS in a PRODUCTION environment
INFRASTRUCTURE AS A CODE automation using TERRAFORM is MUST
Knowledge on AZURE resources like AKS, Application Gateway, Traffic Manager, Key Vault, PaaS database, PostgreSQL DB etc
Role and Responsibilities :
Building and maintaining tools to automate application and infrastructure deployment, and to monitor operations
Coordinating with other members of the DevOps team, Development, Test, and other teams to enhance and optimize existing processes
Have ability to design and implement transformation from an AS IS STATE to the FUTURE
Help maintain and support current and future Azure based cloud platforms and infrastructure
Providing guidance & support to the Dev and QA teams as needed
EXP in development, operations including deployment automation, automation scripting, configuration management & standardization
Implement monitoring and logging solutions that enable the production systems to be monitored using applications such as Prometheus, Grafana etc
You will be very hands-on technically and love getting your hands dirty in the detail
You will be a key in a team that will build and update an automated container infrastructure pipeline with a view to running Infrastructure as code and immutable infrastructure
