Senior Software Engineer - (ssis, Sql) @ United Health Group

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

• Help write and optimize in-application SQL statements

• Prepare documentations and specifications

Required Qualifications:

• Experience working in Agile methodologies and willing to take the Scrum master role

• Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization, using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools

• Hands-on experience in developing complex database programs (Stored Procs, Functions and Triggers etc.)

• Good experience in DBCC Commands and partitions files and file groups

• Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases

• Capable of troubleshooting common database issues

• Good ETL knowledge using SSIS in handling data from heterogeneous systems and performing routine ETL activities

• In depth understanding of Database internals and experience in optimizing and database performance tuning

• Thorough understanding of using DB monitoring tools to perform DB Health checks and identifying performance bottlenecks

Preferred Qualification:

• Knowledge in Azure and its components
