Job Description - Sr. DevOps Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and implement continuous delivery pipelines that serve the purpose of provisioning non-prod and production environments in Azure and AWS
• Develop deployment automation for any type of workload (Application, database, caching, Mobile, etc.) on Azure using industry standard deployment and configuration management tools Ansible.
• Develop tools and solutions to integrate, automate, and orchestrate cloud operational needs using Automation, Azure DevOps, AWS Lambda and Terraform.
• Define and bring in Continuous Integration and Continuous deployment standard methodologies - Jira, BitBucket, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle
• Recommend a migration and consolidation strategy for DevOps tools
• Partner with Development teams to identify the workload patterns and deliver the suitable deployment automation
• Document deployment automation and pipeline details and effectively socialize with DEV teams to educate and demonstrate
• Provide systems support including responding to monitoring alerts.
• Implement and stay abreast of Cloud and Kubernetes industry standard methodologies and tooling

Certification in Azure/AWS Cloud DevOps engineer, Developer, Solutions Architect, or Data Engineer

Skills Required

 

Minimum 6 - 10 years

Microsoft Azure

Strong at PowerShell Scripting, creating ARM templates

Windows 2012 R2, 2016, 2019 - AD DS, ADFS, DNS, Failover cluster

IIS, SharePoint, SQL Server

Troubleshooting and Performance Tuning

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar field.

• Attention to details, ability to think strategically and tactically
• Strong communication skills, cross functionally, across all levels of the organization
