Job Description
Role Purpose and Key Accountabilities:
We are looking for a Senior Information Security Analyst with significant experience in leading/executing information security audits and security risk assessments within large enterprises or consulting firms. There are two key areas of focus for this role. The ideal candidate would be a self-motivated individual with strong information security knowledge, commitment to quality and positive work ethic, who can:
1) Be part of our Product Development team leveraging their vast hands-on experience of information security and risk management frameworks, to help enhance and extend the capabilities of the platform. This involves incorporating and extending the platform with new information security frameworks, developing new analytics and features as part of ongoing product development program.
2) Be part of our Client Solutions team in analyzing information security and cyber security risks from the Security Insight Platform to deliver security insights to our clients. This involves being part of client projects in delivering analytical outputs to client security teams and help improve the security risk posture of the client organization.
Skills & Experience:
- Relevant experience in IT risk assessment, compliance audits, ISO 27001 implementation and audit, vendor risk assessment, vulnerability assessment, review of IT general controls and risk assurance.
- Relevant experience in the Information Security role.
- Experience in analyzing outputs from any SIEM systems is desirable.
- Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with Agile methodology & tools is preferred.
- Experience in developing or configuring visualization analytics to perform security data analysis is preferred.
- Familiarity with Big Data visualization tools is desirable.
- Must be a keen learner who takes initiatives, works across technical & non-technical teams and keeps up to date with industry best practices at all times.
- Great written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills, with an ability to communicate with a range of technical and non-technical team members and other relevant individuals.
- Time-management and organizational skills to manage a variety of tasks, prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work as part of a team and to build strong relationships with staff and other relevant individuals.
- Self-motivated individual with an analytical mind-set capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
Knowledge:
- Being highly knowledgeable about the cybersecurity threatscape (and keeping up to date with the security industry)
- Sound knowledge of governance, risk and compliance systems, risk assessment and mitigation.
- In-depth knowledge of compliance standards (PCI DSS, SSAE-18, SOX) and IS standards (ISO 27001, BS25999, ISO 20000, OWASP, and others).
Education:
- Masters/Bachelor's Degree
- One or more of the below security certifications: CISSP, CISA, CEH
