Desired Candidate Profile

SUMMARY

Develop and support the state-of-the-art, high performance and high capacity RTL and Gate level power analysis solutions for PowerArtist as part of highly energetic R&D team

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and support RTL, optimizations, PDB improvement solutions for PowerArtist average, time-based and reduction power flows
Implement innovative algorithms and data-structures in C/C++ for tool enhancements and features
Build a solid understanding of the code and the teams software development processes.
Optimize code to improve tool run time and memory capacity.
Create unit, regression and/or system-level tests to thoroughly validate new features or changes

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

0-3 years of commercial C/C++ software development experience in Unix/Linux
Excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to quickly ramp-up in diverse code base
B.Tech. M Tech. or Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or other related area

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Good knowledge of RTL (Verilog and/or VHDL) is a strong plus
Working experience in synthesis/optimization techniques is a strong plus
Knowledge of Liberty library format is a plus
Experience with EDA software development and file formats is preferred
Experience with efficient implementation of large data processing is preferred
