RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and present lesson plans by using a variety of teaching models and techniques in the subject areas. Observe, monitor and assess students on-going progress. Prepare assignments and tests for in-school assessment and homework in the subject. Inform parents of student s progress of academic performance, attendance, and participation; reporting on all elements of student development at parent-teacher conferences, both regularly scheduled and as-needed. To plan, organize and facilitate all subject related projects in school, and also prepare students for intra and inter school science meets.

REQUIREMENTS

Excellent Communication skills are mandatory. Ability to present lessons in an innovative and easy-to-understand manner. Patience and resourcefulness are also important when explaining complex ideas to students with different academic skills, family and cultural backgrounds, various ethnic backgrounds and different nationalities. Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in Mathematics from well reputed schools. Must have undergone a required IB training.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor s and Master s degree with a specialization in Mathematics through a full-time programme from a reputed institute
