Job Description
Please find the JD Openshift Administration
Minimum 2 years of experience in Openshift is Mandatory
- Hands on experience in Red Hat Openshift Administration - Kubernetes and Openshift Infrastructure and Architecture.
- Build/Support Non-Prod (Dev, Test, Staging) and Production container platform environments. Configuration and support of openshift container platform, knowledge on container monitoring tools and metrics.
- Standardize, build, and support a portfolio of reusable components, services and interfaces. Work as part of PaaS DevOps Engineer team to establish and support an automated CI/CD process using Jenkins,
- Artifactory and Openshift container platform. Improve productivity in delivery orchestration, proactive monitoring, self-healing automation and operation validations. Collaborate and coach internal business unit team members to help build container ready applications using standard automated CI/CD processes. Experience with and understanding of multi-tier web application architectures
- Be part of a team that will work providing level 3 support for Openshift Non- Prod and Prod Support
- Onboarding Nodes in Openshift Cluster with various business workloads
- Develop scripts for system automation
- Provide 3rd level support for infrastructure and deployment issues Develop and maintain
- Work in close collaboration with development teams and provide technical leadership for projects on server deployment, server security, optimization and sizing exercise.
- Experience with system configuration tools including Ansible , Chief or Vagrant
- Virtualization of infrastructure, building of packages using Docker
- Setting up and management of version control using Git or Bitbucket .
- Good understanding of multiple OS platforms - any LINUX flavoured OS, Windows and VMWare/Hyper-V/KVM
- Exhibit a deep understanding of server virtualization, networking and storage ensuring that the solution scales and performs with high availability and uptime
- Highly customer focused and interactive role, requiring the knowledge of all the products/services being delivered, reflecting the strengths of the whole delivery.
