ROLE DESCRIPTION
- Candidate will be responsible for writing PL/SQLcode for development of new modules and maintenance of existing modules.
- Actively participate in team meetings andcollaborate with other team members to carry out project deliverables.
- Create and maintain technical and functionaldocumentations.
- Participate in unit testing and peer code reviewto minimize defect leakage.
- Develop scalable and repeatable processes totransform data.
- Adhere to and enforce organization standards,procedures and industry best-practices.
- Candidate will be responsible for understandingand analyzing business requirement documents.
DESIRED SKILLS
- Candidate should have 3-5 years of development experiencein Oracle PL/SQL.
- Should be proficient in working with Oracledatabase.
- Should have strong knowledge of Database Objects(Tables, Constraints, Indexes, Views, Sequences and Synonyms).
- Should be proficient in writing Packages, StoredProcedures, Functions, Triggers and Views.
- Experience in designing logical and physicaldatabase models to support present and future architecture and ETL needs.
- Strong working technical knowledge of Oracle,SQL, PL/SQL and Unix Shell Scripting.
- Should be comfortable in writing complex SQLqueries using conversions, group functions, joins, sub-queries and SetOperators.
- Candidate should have strong knowledge of Oraclecollections, records, cursors and their types.
- Candidate should have exposure to exceptionhandling and their types.
- Excellent debugging skills to identify bugs andresolve them efficiently.
- Should have implemented performance tuning andshould understand it's all aspects.
- Should have strong analytical skills, problemsolving, team-oriented with excellent multi-tasking and coordination skills ina dynamic environment.
- Ability to work in a team as well as workindependently with minimal supervision as and when required.
- Candidate should be able to demonstrate excellentcommunication skills
GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS
- Exposure as a database administrator andfamiliarity with database architecture
