Description:
As a leader in the Salesforce CoE, this role will be responsible for the overall capability development in the delivery, operate and value teams. It includes three large areas of focus -
1. Identify the current skill-set landscape within the team and identify areas where additional focus and up-skilling is required
2. Partner with Salesforce/other third party vendors to devise a strategy to impart relevant trainings to ensure the staff is up-skilled in line with the direction of the organization.
3. Identify current trends within the Salesforce eco-system by understanding how different organizations build capability and replicate relevant training aspects within the CoE.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Establish a Salesforce strategy by collaborating with senior management to set organizational vision for the Salesforce Platform
Identify the current skill landscape in the Salesforce CoE and come up with a view on what needs to be built and what needs to be outsourced
Partner with business value stream to understand future demands in terms of skills and timelines and propose and execute an upskilling plan
Partner with Salesforce to understand their technology offering and have a point of view on how to make it relevant to Shell
Identify industry trends on Salesforce on how is this platform being used in different companies and how could Shell draw a relevance
Review the AppExchange repository and propose relevant offerings that could be leveraged within Shell to minimize customization
