About the Company:

EndureAir was founded in 2019 by alumni of IIT Kanpur. At EndureAir, we aspire to provide world class aerial robotic solutions i.e., Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) aka drones that are best suited for the Indian market. We are not just another run-of-the-mill drone start-up. The key differentiator for our very promising start-up is our origin, which lies in more than a decade of research & development in the area of drones. The company focuses on the entire gamut of UAS research and development, including novel airframes, autopilots, communication framework, monitoring stations, and computer vision algorithms. Our aim is to develop cutting edge technology for multiple sectors and provide solutions to real-world problems.

COVID-19 has surely brought up the importance of drones in emergency situations. Designing drones that are capable of having better performance is only possible with complete understanding of all its subsystems, right from the aerodynamic design to the communication devices. To address these multiple requirements, EndureAir came up with two different kinds of drones.

Vibhram, a conventional helicopter design that loiters for 2 hours with 5kg payload. Vibhram is the best drone available in the market for missions like video monitoring and surveillance, crowd management, precision agriculture, etc.

Orbit, a fixed-wing design that can go for a range of 40km while carrying 5kg payload, perfect solution in terms of performance and cost-effectiveness for long range missions like delivery of emergency supplies and logistics, disaster management.

Patents & Clientele

EndureAir holds a total of 6 patents in drone technology in both hardware and software. Over the past decade, the team has built a very influential network with government organizations like HAL, DRDO, ADA and many other defence agencies.

One of the main advantages of EndureAir over its competitors is that the team has very strong institutional support for research and development purposes from highly experienced IIT Kanpur faculty.

The Team
The EndureAir team consists of 5 doctorates and 3 postgraduates and many graduates from various teir-1 institutions in India and abroad like IIT Kanpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Patna, University of Maryland, Univ. of Leicester and more. Together the team has 50years of experience in various drone related domains. Our team has seen a rapid growth in the last 2 years. Currently, our team comprises of 35 engineers and technicians. Owning a business that has grown rapidly, we will require expansion to satisfy current demand and widen our client base.

About funding and financials: EndureAir is profitable and with good margins. Currently company is focusing on developing drones that are capable of lifting 20-30kg in next 1-1.5 year which can address both defence and mid-mile delivery applications.
