To help support our growth and expansion we are looking for a talented Embedded Software and Communications Engineer with 1- 3 years of experience to execute complete embedded software development lifecycle. The goal is to create scalable and optimized software systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop application code for embedded systems using microcontrollers, sensors and analog/digital interface circuits in C, C++, python.
- Selection and integration of wireless module with due consideration to parameters like power, operation consideration, legal frequency bands and EIRP limit, etc.
- RF communication systems development and experimentation along with hardware team.
- Collaborate with other team members during system integration of communication units
and peripherals (like antenna) in the aerial vehicle.
- Engage with respective tech support or community while in integration phase if needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors or masters degree in electrical engineering or other relevant discipline.
- Proficient in C, python & Linux environment and comfortable in working with development boards like Raspberry pi and ESP32.
- Basic understanding of circuit-level analog and digital electronics.
- Basic understanding of RF hardware components like antennas and related parameters. Hands-on knowledge of C programming for embedded systems including use of
a various IDEs for development and debugging.
- Some level of experience in interfacing wireless modules like long-distance telemetry or GSM/ 4GLTE modules.
- Hands on knowledge of various standard communication protocols like I2C, RS232, UART, SPI.
- Experience with flight controller (PX4/ Ardupilot) ecosystem would be beneficial.
