Job Description

Job Details:- Experience in Database design using PostgreSQL and implementing data solutions, developing complex User Defined Functions, Stored Procedures, views, triggers etc. - Experience in optimizing SQL statements, Index creation performance and tuning. - Knowledge of limitations in PostgreSQL and their workarounds in contrast to other popular relational databases. Good data analysis skills : - Hands on experience with installation and configuration of PostgreSQL. backup, recovery, replication, partitioning, high availability. - Ability to install, administer, configure, troubleshoot, PostgreSQL databases. - Extensive knowledge of RDBMS concepts and hands-on experience on PostgreSQL - Data import and data migration. - Monitoring database/server alerts/requests and resolve them within the agreed timelines. - Good to have Other databases knowledge such as MySQL, MongoDB, MS SQL etc.
