Senior Java Developer, Booking Model @ Citibank

Job Description

Java, J2EE, Web Services, Spring Framework, JSP, Apache Tomcat
JMS, XML, JSON
Oracle, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, aggregate Functions
Experience in ExtJS or Angular is a plus
Qualifications and Competencies:
BE or MCA Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
7+ years experience in core Java/J2EE
Strong Application development using Spring framework, RESTful APIs, Apache Tomcat, JSP and Oracle
Strong analytical and project management skills required, in depth knowledge of SDLC, and thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
Participate in SIT and UAT calls, interact with quality assurance teams
Attend and resolve QC tickets/issues
Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
Proven analytical and problem solving skills
Strong leadership skills with excellent written and oral communications skills
Strong negotiation skills in terms of articulating design and selling a vision
Must have experience building and managing geographically dispersed team
A motivated, self-directed, highly proactive attitude and approach.
Domain Skills:
Experience with Banking applications and process would be advantageous,
