One of our EPC MNC clients having their based office in Mumbai is looking for Engineering Manager professional for their Mumbai office.
Position:- Engineering Manager
Experience:- 18 to 25 yrs
Job Location:- Mumbai
Industry :- Chemicals / Specialty chemicals / Pharma API industries.
Qualification:- B.E./B.Tech- Chemical/Mechanical
Job Description:-
The Candidate must mandatorily have experience in Conceptual Design, Basic and; Detailed Engineering of Process Plants such as Chemicals, Specialty Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals and FMCG facilities.
Key Expectations/Responsibilities/Duties:
- More than 20 years of experience in design, consultancy, construction, project management and implementation of Industrial projects in Petrochemicals, chemicals,engineering, pharmaceuticals, foods and beverages.
- Experience in structural design, architecture and equipment interfacing, construction and project management of industrial projects.
- Should have experience of working on EPC, EPCM and or EPsCm project and proposal.
- Efforts estimation in term of man hours and schedule for project.
- Job planning, allocation and review of activities carried out by junior team members Value engineering
- Knowledge of code, standards, statutory and regulatory guidelines is must.
- Should be a self-starter, capable of working independently in a high stress environment.
- Coordinate internal model reviews and participate in client model reviews. Manage interfaces.
- Coordination with all engineering disciplines.
- Should guide engineering team for smooth execution of project.
- Understand client requirement of quality and schedule for respective schedule and implement same through engineering team for successful execution of project.
- Independently prepare manning plan in line with project schedule for entire engineering.
- Estimation of engineering affords during proposal stage. understanding of project schedule and activities of complete EPC cycle is must.
- Participate in all client meetings including KOM, WRM and MRM and full control of
- project.
- Change control management, identify opportunities and convert in changer order in all running project, control and manage all changes in order to create win-win situation for both client and consultant.
- Trouble shooting during execution of project.
- Review of all engineering discipline deliverables.
- Participate in all daily toolbox meetings.
- Proposal Engineering-Proposal stage activities like review of ITB documents, preparation of clarification of optimum efforts estimation, preparation of work volume summary, participation in pre-bid meeting, preparation of technical bid, man-hrs bench marking.
- Good communication skills and experience of leading client meetings.
- Overall responsibility for discipline coordination and engineering quality.
