Deals Desk Sr. Analyst - Mumbai - Ncr @ NCR Corporation

Core Responsibilities for this Position are as Follows:

• Ensure all NCR regional bids proposals, via consistent policy and process, are appropriately assessed for the following: Price requested and Gross Margin Returns
• Highlight Non-standard TCs, unusual risk, commercial terms in bids proposals to the right stakeholders defined by the approval matrix
• Lead bid opportunity through the bid review process and ensure that proper Bid Qualifications (appropriate financial, commercial and management approvals prior to deal submission) take place
• Become a trusted advisor for the field sales organization and other relevant teams in the areas of deal structuring best practices, bid review process and usage of preferred offers where available
• Co-ordinate with dedicated centralized Corporate functions in Finance, Legal, Product and Solutions Management, Professional Services, etc. to enable more effective competitive wins
• Ensure hygiene in reporting of on-going financial analysis and historical bid trends, competitive price positioning, margin results and price erosion
• Remain up to date in terms of NCR s business model, market, and product knowledge.
• Participate in regional pricing and strategic initiatives
• Ensure applicable Sarbanes Oxley, Multiple Element Accounting and GAAP requirements are implemented where applicable.
• Participate in Regional and Global Ad hoc projects (including Continuous Improvement projects) as required

Basic Qualifications Education and Background:

• 7 yrs relevant experience as a Pricing Analyst / Consultant; experience in modeling aaS (As A Service) is a plus
• Bachelor s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or Economics
• Recognized professional Accounting / Business Qualification
• Demonstrated financial / analytical skills gained through formal education or work experience
• Proficient in Business English (written and verbal communication skills)
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Experience with CPQ tools and Business Objects is a plus
• Experience / knowledge of technology sector sales and channels operations
• Ability and confidence to work comfortably with senior management and interact with colleagues across all levels
