Designation Manager - Spare Sales
Location -Mumbai/ Visakhapatnam.
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
1. Ownership of AfterSales function for Spares Sales including pitching of spares pricing for Navy, Shipyards, Industry and Offshore segments2 Process Improvements - Formulating process from Spares enquiry to Sales using CRM, ILMS, PIL, Maintenance schedules updation 3. Plan for kitting up of spares for Navy and Industry to maximise the spares sales4. Maintaining the LPP ( Last purchase price) and Bill Of Entry criteria for Navy/ Coast Guard, ONGC etc 5. Planning and optimising stock of spares to ensure meeting customer requirement and targetted turnaround of spres 6. Involvement in Installation Matrix and Industry Account Ownership matrix 7. Bid tenders / submit quotes and follow-up of customer enquiries for order conversion. 8. Dealer Management - Spares targets, monitoring, review and evaluation 9. Business Development of new products for accessories for existing customers
Experience:-
8 - 12 Years Experience in handling Similar functions. Experience in handling spares to shipyards/ government accounts/ key accounts preferred ( Tenders/ e-Tenders preferred)
Should have experience in handling Head Office function for AfterSales & Service function including team handling, Pricelist Management for wide range of products and price negotiations.
Knowledge/skills desirable
Knowledge:1.Handling Spares & accessories to government bodies/ shipyards ( direct & through dealers)2. Commercial aspects in handling Spares & accessories Invoices and Payments3. Competition knowledge would be additional advantage. 4. Continuous Improvement Process 5. Service knowledge. Capability to understand sevice aspects needed for spares decision keeping customer view pointSkills: Analytical approach, Systematic working, Methodical, loyal, punctual Good interpersonal skills. Good communication skills : oral and written. Team Management ability (direct reporting of 3 - 5 members) & dealer management
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
1 Enquiry Tracking a) Register Enquiries / Tender and generate Monthly / Quarterly reports capturing analytic data CRMb) Submit offer including documentation (EMD, Technical data etc) as per the tender / enquiry. c) Analyse and generate report about Order conversion prospects / Price realisation reports (once every six months) 2. Order Processing & execution a) Receiving order and send acknowledgement; including clarification /corrections for descripencies and get them resolved. b) Processing indents and communicating 'Order Acknowledgements' c) Review of order and preparing / initiating pre-dispatch Techno-commercial documentation (OBS, B&D, Recommended Spares etc) approval as per order wherever applicable. d) Initiate and administer submission of commecial document PBG and ECS details as per PO conditions. 3. Customer satisfaction a) On time deliveries, Installation matrix (Navy) and Account ownership(Industry) update, On time closure of enquiries to order 4)Reports and reviews a) Prepare and review 'Payment collection plan' Fortnightly basis. b) Enquiry to Order analysis including monthly/ quarterly order booking and dispatch plan and effectiveness matrix ( plan vs actual) with process improvement c) Adherence to system for ISO compliance for all related functions 5. Post delivery / dispatch activities a) Cordinate delivery and generate reqiuisite post dispatch documentation as per PO terms b) Submit bills with delivery / dispacth details and monitor payment processing & ensure collection on time. c) Handling of query pertaining to post receipt inspection/ quality issues from customer d) Handling supply descripencies and correction as per procedures. The procedures and format to be documented for ease of operation 6) Other a) Promoting upgradation proposals and business develoment b) Process improvements to commensurate up with the business requirement and growth c) Up Keep data and Update/educate customer about new trends and product upgrades (Modification) to plan procurement accordingly. d) Annual projections of spare parts for budgetting purpose- to be provided during 4th Quarter every year. e) Reporting team and dealer management
