Job Description
Dear Candidate,ACS Group Is urgent Hiring HCC Medical coder for HBS Team.
Job description- CCS, CPC, or CRC credential accepted (No CPC-A accepted)
Minimum of 5+ years of current HCC coding experience is required
Because quality is of extreme importance to this client, we will only be considering candidates who pass our HCC coding test with a minimum score of 95%.
Coders will be working in clients retrospective web-based technology platform (HCC Scout) reviewing HCC code suggestions made by the tool on the health plans members. The technology works like a CAC but for risk capture suggestions.
Client will do a very comprehensive virtual training with the entire CFH team on their HCC technology and coding workflow. Recorded trainings will be made available for reference and future trainings
HF also does a coding discovery document with each of their end clients which will be reviewed with all CFH coders, QA, and leads. However; ramp up is very quick with their system our team should be fully productive within 5 or so days.
Productivity: productivity for this client is measured by suggestions reviewed per hour. In the beginning, because of the way they prioritize the charts to be reviewed, we will see much higher suggestions and longer times to review codes. As the assignment progresses and the prioritization lessens, you will see less suggestions per record reviewed and faster times to turn around code suggestions. For this project, we are targeting 2.5-3 members per hour. We have two weeks to achieve that level of productivity within completion of training.
Accuracy: our coders are responsible for delivering a minimum of 93% of correct code assignment, correct date of service assignment, correct claim linked and correct rejection comment applied within 2 weeks of any applicable training.
Client will create spreadsheet of the previous days accepted codes and upload in Box for Companys quality assurance review. Company quality assurance resources will review the accepted codes following coding guidelines and documentation completeness and accuracy.
Coders will need to have CHROME downloaded and use as their web browse
The position Is only for 1 month contract. shift timing- 12P.M to 9 P.M
