Principal Software Engineering Manager @ Microsoft

• Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements for protecting mission critical workloads and enhance current Azure BCDR offerings to meet such requirements.
• Create long-term vision and strategy for Azure s BCDR offerings that take in to account the changing landscape of Azure s Compute, Storage Network capabilities.
• Establish KPIs and successfully drive execution through collaboration and partnership with PM team and partners.
• Lead the team by bringing clarity, creating energy and driving results.
• Prioritize work for your team through collaboration with partner teams.
• Lead the design and implementation of various capabilities enhancements being undertaken to help customers leverage Azure cloud effectively for their BCDR requirements/compliance.
• Accountability for design, implementation, quality, livesite success of customers

• 8+ years of industry experience in software development and building world class solutions.
• 5+ years as an engineering manager
• Excellent communication skill and a passion for managing a diverse team of engineers and helping them grow.
• Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience/knowledge of cloud computing, enterprise computing, IaaS and/or SaaS products
• Experience in technical leadership in driving engineering roadmaps, leading v-teams, mentoring and helping others grow technically.
• Track record of attracting, hiring, growing, and retaining top talent and working with distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands on experience with distributed systems and services in the cloud.
• Experience with handling scale quality focus.
