Job Description

Job location - Chennai / Gurgaon.

Educational Qualifications: B.E.

Experience: 3 to 4 years in Sales of Industrial Products/Capital Goods/Equipments.

Purpose of Job:  B2B sales / Lead Generation of Industrial Products , EPC Projects, Automation Products , heavy machinery / capital goods, Robot system sales to Manufacturing companies & Revenue Generation.

Principal Activities:

  1. Lead Generation:
  • Initiate lead/demand generation strategies that include inbound/outbound sales and marketing campaigns and initiative.
  • Identify strong potential prospects using various data mining options and creativity, to generate outbound lead opportunities.
  • Manage, nurture, and convert inbound leads into sales opportunities.
  • Assess and analyze a prospect current process and requirements; and accordingly find the brand fit
  • Provide engaging and articulate information about Companys value proposition to potential customers.
  • Maintain well organised, up-to-date and accurate sales information and activity reports in Salesforce CRM system.
  • Collaboratively work with the marketing team and EI leadership to develop lead generation strategies to generate lead opportunities with prospective customers
  1. Sales Management:
  • Learn to manage complex enterprise sales throughout the sales cycle.
  • Initiates and participates in new business pitches with sales team and subject matter experts and own follow-through with the lead prospect.
  • Efficient management of the sales pipeline using Companys processes.
  • Confidently participate in the preparation of proposals and the presentation of professional product demonstrations, via webinars or face to face meetings.
  • Represent Company at corporate events or sales meetings independently or with colleagues.
  • Meet personal targets and work towards Companys sales goals and profitability.
  1. Communication:
  • Provide consistent, concise, accurate internal and external communications.
  • Demonstrates ability to interact professionally with potential customers via phone, email, telephone conferencing, webinars, and face to face, to discover their business needs and develop a positive business relationship.
  • Work closely within a small sales & marketing team and develop cooperative working relationships with all company colleagues.
  • Providing consistent, concise, accurate and timely weekly/monthly sales lead gen activity reports to management
  • Proficient in the use of social media tools like LinkedIn, Twitter, etc
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures culture and business ethics.
  1. Product Knowledge:
  • Develop a strong knowledge of Companys products and services in order to facilitate the sales process.
  • Understand how the benefits of Companys products and services can meet customers needs in various business verticals.
  • Effectively communicate and present the EI product solution and value proposition to customers.

Required Skill Sets:

  • Has highly developed all round interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, networking and negotiation skills.
  • Customer service oriented with a positive, well-motivated attitude.
  • Conscientious, hard-working and driven to improve sales and activity performance beyond targets.
  • Competent IT skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, google programs and social networking tools. Experience of Salesforce would be preferred, but not essential.
  • Good organizational and time management skills with the flexibility to reprioritize, as necessary.
  • Must be highly proficient in all aspects of English language, especially speaking, listening, and writing skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work with global professionals.
  • Must be passionate about the automation industry and automation products.
