Job Description
- seeking an experienced and self-driven software Test Engineer to join our team building the digital experience engine for Kyndryl.
- As a Test Engineer in the team, you will play a key role in providing seamless experience with all quality.
- Your responsibilities are rooted in defining testcases and execution of front-end test, back-end test, and end to end integration test. And in parallel, including implementing and executing the automated tests.
- The position requires good interpersonal skills and past experience in cloud native way of development
Responsibilities
- Understand the scope and current thinking relative to the Kyndryl Platform scope, use case, and architecture
- Design, development and execution of the test cases, manage the automation test framework and test scripts that support the capabilities of the Kyndryl Platform
- Open and manage the defects. Track and drive whole lifecycle of the defects and verification
- Work closely with the scrum lead/members and development teams of the Kyndryl Platform and participate in scrum and Chapter/guild sessions
- Generate Test Reports and maintain historical references
- Contribute to the continuous test pipeline by integrating automation with DevSecOps
- 5 years of experience as a Test engineer in web-based applications and API testing
- Experience with methodologies for software development and delivery like Agile, Scrum
- 3-5 years of experience for Test Planning, Test execution, Test Status Reporting and Test Preparation
- Should be able to execute & also coordinate/collaborate the testing activities
- Should be a good team player with positive attitude personally/professionally, with flexibility to handle the activities/tasks
- Quick learner, able to adjust quickly to changing requirements and technologies;
- Advance in logical reasoning, creative thinking and analytical skills.
- Experience testing applications on public clouds (AWS, Azure and/or GCP)
- Experience in developing automation script using Python, Selenium / Protractor
- Performance testing tool like Jmeter
- Project management tool like Zenhub/Jira and CI/CD tools like Jenkins
- Knowledge of any one of databases (MySQL, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
- Passion for continuous improvement in both technology and process, strong problem solving skills, attention to details.
