Sr Engineer/ Manager -Power Evacuation @ ReNew Power

Roles Responsibilities:-

Electrical Balance of plant pertaining to Sub-station (up to 400 KV), Switching stations, and related transmission lines, from concept till commissioning of wind farm, which shall also involve

• Creation of internal external WTG network on google earth or equivalent software.
• Optimized transmission line network in order to achieve minimum transmission line losses in the project.
• Designing SCADA/DCS/SAS, power plant controller (PPC) system accordingly Architecture finalization, preparing I/O list, selecting communication protocol.
• Should have good experience on various communication protocols:
• Modbus TCP/IP and Modbus RTU
• IEC 60870-101, 104, IEC 61850, DNP3
• Candidate should be capable to manage to Scada control instrumentation and communication system.
• Should be proficient with set-up of new Scada and management of Scada Instrumentation; Scada Integration with OEM SCADA
• Should be able to manage Scada Servers, HMIs and SCADA database, knowledge of CMS will be added advantage.
• Should have good understanding of Firewall, ethernet switches, LIU , FO cables, communication cables and other network equipments.
• Knowledge of drawing tools-AutoCAD, Google earth, SCADA, SAP, MS-office etc

Profile Eligibility Criteria :-

• BE/B Tech in electrical / electronic / Instrumentation engineering from recognized institutions like NIT/ equiv., with min 5 yrs. post qualification experience. Candidates with management qualification would be preferred.
• Experience on the balance of plant of wind renewable sector OR from the solar / hydro sector, OR from the EPC companies providing services to the renewable sector, OR those who are into energy/ power sector.
• Should have a background of carrying out detailed engineering, prepare technical specs, Bill of quantities, vendor evaluation, quality inspection, project execution monitoring, operations maintenance etc. pertaining to balance of plant electrical systems.
• Willing to travel since the job would require frequent visits to wind farm sites across the country.
• Candidates willing to relocate to Gurgaon with family, will be preferred.
