Roles and Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibility areas (roles and responsibilities):

1. Design and development of products and its components

a) Manufacturing drawing considering the Process,

b) Good knowledge of Fits & Tolerances & built up tolerances for assemblies.

b) BOM,

c) Prototypes,

d) Instruction manual

e) Testing procedure.

2. New product development

a) Concept design,

b) Engineering calculation

c) Finite Element Analysis FEA

d) DFMEA

3. Implementation of good engineering practises.

4. Standardizing design in accordance to ISO and DIN standards.

5. Value Engineering existing products

6. Reverse engineering of product for development purpose.

7. Overall certification and approval of products.

8. Strong analytical and problem solving ability.

9. Expecting zero rework on drawings.

10. Good planning ability to execute various projects and assignments.

11. Good co-ordinating with Engineering, Supplier, Purchase, Production and Quality.

12. Good communication skills. Ability to interact directly with customer for better

understanding of his requirement.
