Roles and Responsibilities
The IT Sales (IS) will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and will have a team reporting into them. The focus of this opportunity is to design, develop and implement the sales and marketing strategies to grow the business and develop a client portfolio across KSA. The preferred candidate will require strong marketing skills with the ability to tie the marketing strategy to the vision of the organization. He will be able to create a robust brand story for the organization, its products and projects. He will be able to deliver complex marketing strategies aimed at outperforming its competitors. He will be viewed as subject matter expert on marketing IT services and business solutions. The IS will have led innovative sales campaigns in the IT services segment. Our chosen candidate will have experience in leading business development efforts in KSA across both private and government entities. The incumbent will have a commercial mindset and a commanding knowledge of the sales process. They will be proven talent at driving prospective customers through key conversion points in the customer journey. The preferred candidate will have an excellent understanding of the customers buying process and will design sales strategies aimed at the companys target customer. At the root of any great leader is their ability to contribute to the success of others. The incumbent will be a proven leader and team player. They will be a critical force mobilizing a group to follow a new direction. The IS will understand what the tool kit is to drive a team to peak performance. The IS will use metrics and KPIs to monitor the performance of the team and at the individual level as well. This will be underpinned by their expert use of L&D, as well as incentives and rewards which are linked to the vision and strategy of the business. The IS will be analytical by nature and experienced in conducting market research, feasibility studies, and analyzing marketing share and market growth potential of various clients. They will be inspired and intellectually curious about who their customer is, why they are buying and how much they are willing to pay. The IS will champion the sales and marketing function of the company and will work hand in hand with the executive leadership team to assist with creating a sustained competitive advantage for the company.
Desired Candidate Profile
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS Key Strengths and Abilities Candidates for the role of IT Sales should have:
10+ years of sales and marketing experience in within technology and business solution providers.
University Degree or equivalent.
Proven ability to deliver winning marketing strategies.
Excellent analytical and market research skills.
Ability to generate sales in a competitive market.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Knowledge and experience across all marketing channels.
Excellent communication skills in English. Arabic is preferred.
