Senior Software Engineer -Java full stack @ Quality Engineering

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and development SPA application using Angular
• Understanding of applications developed using Core Java/Swing
• Should be able to understand / learn architecture and design of existing enterprise applications developed mainly using Core Java/Swing,
• Take ownership of assigned jobs that are part of new feature implementations, bug fixes and enhancement activities
• Technical communication with internal and external stake holders will be part of job

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

• 3-6 years of experience in design and development of software applications and frameworks
• Strong Hands on experience in Angular development
• Strong Hands on experience in using HTML,CSS and Javascript
• Excellent communication skills
• Deep knowledge in Object-Oriented concepts and experience in implementing the same
• Unit testing experience using Junit or similar
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and debugging skills
• Good knowledge of software design patterns and uml
• Understanding of Java and Spring development
• Medical Device development experience
• Experience in developing software applications for Medical Devices domain CT, XR, MR, Common Platform, DICOM standard.
• Hands-on experience in RDBMS and SQL

Desired Skills:

• Very good knowledge in design web application and web services / microservices platforms
• Very good knowledge of TCP/IP networking, and network services such as DNS, SMTP, DHCP, FTP,SSH, Telnet, etc
• Familiar with tools like WinScp, Putty, Rally, ClearQuest, Clearcase, Collaborator, SVN,ALM,JDICOM/DVT/DCMTK
• Ability to explore large code base and understand architecture and design
• Ability to deliver without much supervision from lead/managers
• Proficiency with MSOffice, particularly MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
