Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CRM Administrator with expertise in system administration activities, specifically focused on configuring application components, troubleshooting component crashes, and performing Siebel installation, migration, patching, deployment, and operations activities. As a CRM Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and managing the Siebel CRM system.

Responsibilities:

• Configure application components and parameters to meet business requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve component crashes, ensuring system stability and performance.
• Install and monitor the Siebel setup/environment.
• Perform Siebel installation on Linux/Solaris platforms and possess familiarity with migration, patching, deployment, and operations activities.
• Optional: Telecom background knowledge of Siebel installation on Solaris and Apache Web server.
• Migrate and deploy Siebel objects from one environment to another.
• Manage AD/LDAP and handle access management.
• Administer jobs related to EIM (Enterprise Integration Manager), Workflow Process Batch Manager, Batch Assignment, etc.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues, especially related to system performance.
• Coordinate with network, computer management, and database administration teams for connectivity, patch updates, upgrades, and data backup activities.
• Conduct Siebel performance tuning activities to optimize system performance.
• Troubleshoot EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) component crashes and analyze crash FDR (Fault Data Repository) and component log files.
• Have a complete understanding of the Siebel architecture.
• Experience in repository export, import, and DDL (Data Definition Language) synchronization.
• Utilize Linux command-line proficiency for file manipulation, editing, and enabling cron jobs.
• Demonstrate good working knowledge of UNIX Shell scripting and SQL.
