Job Description

As a QA Manager, you'll lead an innovative team, aligning testing activities with our objectives. You'll architect our automation testing processes, integrating them to deliver quality products faster and with fewer defects. Your work will directly influence our product quality and customer satisfaction. If you're passionate about quality and ready to lead a team towards excellence, this is the job for you. Role And Responsibilities Overseeing the QA team and managing day-to-day testing activities Developing and implementing the overall QA strategy Collaborating with other business units to understand their quality needs Ensuring the quality of both product and software development Overseeing the selection and design of automation test cases Approving the automation test plan and overseeing its implementation Ensuring the proper configuration of the Selenium Test Environment (STE) Overseeing the design and implementation of automation frameworks Managing the defect management process and ensuring effective solutions are implemented for identified problems Interacting with customers/clients to understand their issues and ensure their satisfaction Continually exploring and implementing new ways to improve the quality processes Upskilling the team to automation testing practices from manual testing. Mandatory Skills Experience in managing a QA team Knowledge of the Agile development life-cycle Experience with Selenium and other API frameworks using Python Experience with automation of backend testing Experience with Rest assured framework or similar Experience in setting up automated test frameworks Good exposure to tools like Git & Jira Strong leadership and communication skills Experience in upskilling a team to automation testing practices from manual Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field Minimum of 7-15 years of industry experience in all types of Testing (System, Integration & Regression) Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing QA engineers Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role within QA (ref:hirist.tech),
