Sc. Nursing/ MSc Nursing with specialized experience Experience: 10-12 years including clinical experience in critical care unit .those who have worked as a Incharge for more than 5 years can also apply for this position. Alternate sat offs, leaves, mediclaim for self, and free food. Hostel available in campus Key areas of responsibility: Bachelors/Masters Degree will be preferred. Should possess excellent supervision skills, nursing care skills, technical, analytical as well as behavioural skills. Should be soft spoken and possess good communication, co-ordination and man management skills. Job requires to work in Morning/ general shift, however, required to be available for emergencies in other shift. Requires to update with continuous education programmes/ attend trainings. Job Responsibilities: To promote and restore patients health by developing day-to-day management and long-term planning of the patients care. To direct and develop nursing staff by creating schedules, offering advice, and answering any health-related questions. To collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary professional staff. To maintain the nursing guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures. To assure quality of care by developing and interpreting hospital and nursing divisions. To maintain Nursing staff by orienting and training nurses and auxiliary staff. To complete patient care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing staff. To maintain Nursing staff by training, counselling, and disciplining through monitoring and appraising nurses job performance. To provide information to patients and the health care team by answering questions and requests. To maintain a safe and clean working environment by designing health procedures and protocols. To maintain a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information and participating in team-building exercises. To complete patient care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing and staff; following up on work results. To communicate with Doctors and families to address care-related concerns To provide information to patients and health care team by answering questions and requests. To resolve patient needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies To recognize and assist in solving clinical problems To supervise care delivery systems to ensure accuracy and consistency To provide clinical expertise in medical, behavioural and crisis management To coordinate with ANS /NS/or Head of Nursing to accomplish facility and patient-care goals To maintain Nursing Staff by orienting, and training nurses and auxiliary staff. To protects patients and employees by developing and interpreting infection-control policies and protocols, enforcing medication administration, storage procedures and controlled substance regulations. To maintain patient confidence and protects operations by monitoring confidential information processing. To maintain documentation of patient care services by auditing patient and department records. To monitor nursing supplies inventory by studying usage reports, identifying trends, anticipating needed supplies. To maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and seminars. To maintain a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information, responding to requests, building rapport, participating in team problem-solving methods. To contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed To maintain nursing operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. To ensure continual delivery of high quality nursing care To adopt and implement innovative nursing practices to improve nursing care.
