Job Description: Part-Time Data Science TrainerPosition Overview:We are looking for an experienced and passionate Data Science Trainer to join our team on a part-time, online basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data science, machine learning, and analytics, coupled with excellent teaching and mentoring skills. This role involves training professionals and students in data science concepts, tools, and applications, ensuring they gain practical, job-ready knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:Training Delivery:Conduct engaging and interactive online training sessions on topics such as Python programming, data analysis, machine learning, deep learning, data visualization, statistical modeling, and big data technologies.Design hands-on projects and case studies to enhance practical understanding.Curriculum Development:Develop and update the data science training curriculum to stay aligned with industry trends and advancements.Ensure training materials are comprehensive, up-to-date, and accessible for diverse learning levels.Student Support:Mentor and guide students in understanding data science concepts and completing projects.Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills.Industry Insights:Stay current with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in data science and analytics.Share practical insights and real-world applications to make sessions more relevant and impactful.Performance Assessment:Evaluate students' understanding through assignments, projects, and assessments.Provide progress reports and recommendations for improvement.Collaboration:Work with the training team to continuously improve the course content and delivery methods.Participate in webinars, workshops, and events to promote the training programs.
Qualifications and Skills:10-14 years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or related fields.Expertise in Python, R, SQL, machine learning algorithms, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).Prior experience as a trainer, mentor, or educator is highly desirable.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and presentation abilities.Ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.Certifications in data science or related fields (e.g., AWS, Google, or IBM certifications) are a plus.
