Company and Division information Contitech Industries is part to Continental AG. Headquartered in Hannover, Germany, the division contributes to Euro 6B+ to Continentals Euro 40B+ turnover. The Digital and data services team of Contitech caters to all the Business Units in Contitech and responsible for developing software products using web, mobile, IoT, AI etc especially in Digital transformation. The team for data services specializes in all platforms, business applications and products in the domain of data and analytics, covering the entire spectrum including AI, machine learning, data science, data analysis, reporting and dashboarding. Overview of the role: We are looking for Senior data platform Engineer who is extremely passionate about data engineering for our wide range of business applications and products targeted towards various industries and applications. You will be based in our new ground-breaking innovation hub with an atmosphere of start-up and get an opportunity to work and collaborate with internal and external technology & business specialist in the areas of data & analytics. Do you want to be a part of this exciting journey and make a difference Key Responsibilities: Own modules of ContiTechs ONE Data & Analytics Platform and work closely with the platform Architect to develop key features. Own data pipelines for specific business applications running on ContiTechs ONE Data & Analytics Platform Design, code, test to meet requirements. Support DevOps for various Data & Analytics applications Apply latest design methodologies pertaining to data engineering ensuring pragmatic, clean and sustainable implementations. Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the software development life cycle. Document solutions using flowchart, layouts, diagrams, charts etc. Collaborate with internal teams to fix and improve the solutions. Requirements: Technical Skills Expert in following o Java o Scala o mongoDB o Python Advanced knowledge in o Azure CLI o Azure Resource mgmt o Terraform / OpenToFu o (postgre)SQL o ADF Good to have o Kubernetes incl. yaml scripting o grafana & Prometheus o RestAPI o Knowledge of SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4 data structure Other skills Experience of agile software development methodologies Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written) Great team player and ability to work in a highly international team Willingness to sometimes travel nationally and internationally to various Continental locations and external development partner locations . Willingness & drive to learn new things. Experience working in tools like JIRA, Confluence, GIT, Jenkins etc. Contribute to data & analytics community in Contitech. Experience Overall 8+ years of experience. About 5+ year of experience in AI/ML 5+ experience in Java, Scala, Mongo DB 3+ years of experience in Terraform, Azure, AWS 2+ year of experience working in Agile Education Bachelors degree with focus on computer science / software engineering, mathematics or other natural sciences. MCA with professional experience Other relevant education streams with strong tech experiences can be considered.,
