Your impact Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced GIS Developer to join our growing team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GIS development, with expertise in the ESRI suite of products, enterprise data management, and environmental data management systems like EQuIS. This role will involve developing and maintaining GIS applications, integrating data from various sources, and creating insightful visualizations using Power BI. The successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of GIS principles, and proficiency in C# or Python. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain GIS applications using the ESRI suite (ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Online, etc.). Develop and implement geoprocessing workflows and scripts for spatial analysis and data manipulation. Manage and maintain enterprise geodatabases and ensure data quality and integrity. Integrate data from various sources, including EQuIS environmental data management system. Develop and maintain data visualization dashboards and reports using Power BI. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective GIS solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve GIS-related issues. Stay up-to-date with the latest GIS technologies and trends. Contribute to the development of GIS best practices and standards. Document GIS processes and workflows Here's what you'll need Required Skills And Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in GIS development. Strong proficiency in the ESRI suite of products (ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Online, etc.). Experience with enterprise geodatabase management (ArcSDE, SQL Server Spatial). Experience with EQuIS environmental data management system. Proficiency in C# or Python for GIS scripting and automation. Experience with data visualization tools, particularly Power BI. Basic proficiency in Excel for data manipulation and analysis. Strong understanding of GIS principles, spatial analysis techniques, and cartography. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
