Job Description

    Under general supervision, manages moderately complex projects or oversees various aspects of highly complex projects. Responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of project. Must be familiar with the scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member to effectively coordinate the activities of the team. Key Responsibilities We are looking for a Senior Technology Project and Program Manager who will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing technology projects and programs for GBS DGX/LNR IPM who share the vision with our technology partners act like a trusted partner. Someone who can help us manage budgets, mitigate risks, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time and meet business objectives. This role requires expertise in project management methodologies, strong leadership skills, and an ability to work with diverse technical and non-technical teams. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. The Senior Product Owners primary responsibilities include: Coordinating with Product Management on activities (e.g., Lean experiments, competitive/market intelligence, customer insights/analysis) designed to ensure deep understanding of customer needs Translating high-level user stories from Product Management into specific technical development items/requests, with clear metrics for success articulated in each requirement Bringing strong organizational skills, as well as ruthless prioritization, to how product backlogs are crafted/maintained/grow Owning the product development lifecycle/schedule, working with Agile/Scrum teams to plan for, and execute on, sprints and releases that deliver on the Product Managers roadmap priorities Working with the Agile/Scrum teams to maintain the health/performance of assigned products/platforms, such as compliance with required norms and standards for security, privacy, accessibility, and discoverability, as well as integration with other systems (e.g., electronic health record systems, learning management systems) Ensuring that where an assigned product needs to interface with other products or platforms, they partner and closely collaborate with other Product Owners and Technology colleagues to identify opportunities for efficiencies/consistency in development approaches Being the glue in the product team who acts as a products subject matter expert for questions and requests for updates (about existing and upcoming features/functionality) from Product Management and Technology Teams. Key Requirements Education: College degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience required. MBA is preferable. Experience: 5+ years of experience in technology project and program management, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects in complex environments. Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or other project management methodologies. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycles, cloud computing, and enterprise applications. Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Microsoft Project, Trello, etc. Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Certifications: Strong oral and written communication skills Strong project management skills, including ability to develop schedules and oversee work-in-progress for budgeting compliance Preferred Qualifications: Certification as either a Scrum Master or Product Owner (e.g., from Scrum Alliance) Experience in contributing to customer-facing communication plans, creating product demos for stakeholders, triaging/troubleshooting customer escalations (in collaboration with Support personnel) Familiarity with backlog software (e.g., Jira, ADO, Trello, Wrike) and team communication applications (Slack, MS Teams, etc.) Travel Requirements: Up to 5% travel based on needs of the business,
