- Job Description We are seeking an experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter QA with Guidewire Certification to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will focus on the testing and quality assurance of Guidewire PolicyCenter, ensuring the system operates efficiently and accurately across all areas. You will be responsible for validating features, modules, and functionality within the PolicyCenter application while ensuring compliance with business requirements and industry standards. As a Guidewire PolicyCenter QA, you will have a strong understanding of both Guidewire PolicyCenter and the insurance domain. Your Guidewire certification will demonstrate your proficiency in working with the platform, and your role will require you to collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality, bug-free deliverables. Key Responsibilities PolicyCenter Testing: Perform end-to-end functional, regression, and integration testing on Guidewire PolicyCenter to ensure system functionality, accuracy, and performance. Test Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements. Automation: Where applicable, work on automating testing processes for PolicyCenter functionality using appropriate tools and frameworks. Defect Tracking: Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira or Quality Center. Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues. Collaboration: Work with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to review requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to ensure test coverage and alignment with business needs. Data Validation: Perform data validation to ensure accurate data flows between Guidewire PolicyCenter and other integrated systems. Compliance: Ensure all tests are aligned with industry standards and internal policies, including data privacy and regulatory compliance. Version Upgrades & Patches: Support testing during version upgrades, patches, and new releases of Guidewire PolicyCenter. End-to-End Testing: Test business processes in PolicyCenter, such as underwriting, policy lifecycle management, quote-to-bind processes, and policy renewals. Reporting: Document test results, write detailed test summary reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders. Performance Testing: Perform performance and load testing to ensure PolicyCenter handles high transaction volumes effectively. Cross-Functional Testing: Perform testing across integrated systems (e.g., BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, and other third-party systems). Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in QA with a focus on Guidewire PolicyCenter. Guidewire Certification: Guidewire Certification in PolicyCenter (or willingness to obtain certification) is required. Testing Tools: Proficient in using test management tools such as Jira, Quality Center, or similar tools for defect tracking and test management. Manual & Automation Testing: Strong experience in both manual testing and automation (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). Insurance Domain Knowledge: Experience working in the insurance industry, specifically with PolicyCenter and related processes (underwriting, policy management, quote-to-bind, etc.). SQL Skills: Strong skills in SQL for data validation and reporting. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document test results and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in both testing and documentation. Desirable Skills Guidewire PolicyCenter Expertise: Hands-on experience with the configuration, administration, and testing of Guidewire PolicyCenter. Integration Testing: Experience with integration testing, including testing of API integrations between Guidewire systems and third-party applications. Performance Testing: Experience with performance testing tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, or similar. Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile or Scrum-based development environments. Additional Certifications: Any additional Guidewire certifications or relevant software testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.,
