Job Description
- We are looking for a skilled Security Consultant to lead the design and implementation of secure software solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software development and cybersecurity. You will be responsible for ensuring that security is integrated into every stage of the software development process to protect against potential risks. Responsibilities: Work with software developers, architects, and product managers to define and prioritize security needs for projects. Design and build secure software solutions, following best practices and industry standards like OWASP and NIST. Establish and enforce secure coding standards across development teams to prevent common security issues. Provide guidance on secure design principles, cryptography, and secure coding techniques. Perform code reviews and security assessments to find and fix vulnerabilities in software applications. Implement security controls to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access. Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline and automate security testing. Stay updated on new security threats and trends, and incorporate them into development practices. ualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CSSLP, CEH) is a plus. Strong knowledge of software development languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript). Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices. Experience with security assessment tools like static code analysis, DAST, and penetration testing. Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work well in a team and lead security initiatives across multiple projects. Strong problem-solving skills to address complex security challenges.
