Job Description
- Biomarker Discovery and Validation: Identifying potential biomarkers through research, validating their clinical utility, and ensuring reproducibility across studies.
- Research and Data Analysis: Conducting laboratory experiments, analyzing high-throughput biological data, and interpreting findings.
- Collaboration with Clinical Teams: Working with clinicians and researchers to design and implement biomarker-related studies, including patient sample collection and data interpretation.
- Technology Development: Developing and optimizing assays or platforms (e.g., ELISA, PCR, NGS) for biomarker detection and quantification.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines for biomarker qualification, and preparing documentation for submission to regulatory bodies (e.g., FDA, EMA).
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborating with drug development, diagnostics, and R&D teams to integrate biomarkers into preclinical and clinical programs.
- Publication and Reporting: Publishing results in peer-reviewed journals, presenting at scientific conferences, and reporting to stakeholders.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Monitoring the integrity of data and maintaining rigorous quality control procedures in biomarker analysis.
- Translational Research: Bridging basic research with clinical applications, ensuring biomarkers can be translated into clinical diagnostics or therapeutic decision-making.
- Budget and Resource Management: Managing research budgets, ensuring the efficient use of resources, and aligning projects with organizational goals.
