Role & responsibilities
About the Role
We are looking for detail-oriented and proactive interns to support our Business Development (BD) Team in conducting market research and lead generation for institutional outreach. The role focuses on collecting verified school data, decision-maker details, and trip preferences to strengthen Wonderlas engagement strategy.
This internship provides hands-on experience in market research, data collection, and customer insights analysis, with potential career growth in business development or sales.
Key Responsibilities
Market Research & Data Collection:
- Conduct field research by visiting schools to gather institutional data.
- Collect and validate key school details, including enrollment size, contact information, and decision-maker details (Principals, Coordinators).
- Use Google Forms & CRM tools to ensure accurate and structured data entry.
Lead Generation & Engagement Support:
- Identify and document school trip preferences, budgeting trends, and engagement levels.
- Assist the BD team in segmenting schools based on market potential and past visit history.
- Use WhatsApp, email, and phone calls to follow up on collected data and encourage form submissions for exclusive school trip offers.
Collaboration with BD Team:
- Work under the mentorship of senior BD executives (each BD member will mentor 2 interns).
- Provide high-quality market intelligence for BD teams to prioritize school outreach.
- Participate in morning briefing calls and evening debrief calls to align efforts and share insights.
Daily & Weekly Reporting:
- Submit daily progress reports via Google Sheets.
- Analyze collected data to identify patterns and trends in school trip planning.
Who Should Apply?
- Students or recent graduates with a strong interest in market research, business intelligence, or sales strategy.
- Strong data collection and analytical skills with attention to accuracy.
- Comfortable with field research and on-site school visits.
- Good communication skills (English, Telugu, and Hindi preferred).
- Prior experience in research, surveys, or data entry is a plus.
