Role & responsibilities

• Operational procedure checking in the Trading Portal PTC Software.
• To monitor the products that are operating 24x7.
• Handling the Bilateral, Collective, REC & ESCERT trades.
• Correct mapping of NOC for new client and existing client. Updating charges & losses as per the NOC in PTC Bias Software.
• Addressing operational concerns and issues, monitoring overall customer requirements.
• Efficiently resolve customer queries and being available to all customer calls/queries.
• Provide solutions of technical queries to new and existing members/client for trading.
• Coordinate with CERC/RLDC/NLDC/SLDC for operational activities involved.
• Follow up with NLDC/RLDC/SLDC (Long Term/medium term, Short Term as well as Power Exchanges) for all congestion related queries.

Essential Knowledge and Expertise

• Knowledge of the Indian Power Market including conventional, renewable, and other power sources, congestion management etc.
• Knowledge of procedure of power scheduling in Long Term/Medium Term/Short Term & IEX.
• Knowledge of the functions of SLDC, RLDC and NLDC.
• Knowledge of POC charges and losses, STU (Transmission charges, Losses and Operating Charges)

Preferred candidate profile

BE/B. Tech in Electrical Engineering. MBA will be added advantage.

5-8 years of Experience in the relevant field.
