Job Description

Job Summary: As a Desktop Engineer L1 Support, you will be the first point of contact for end-users experiencing technical issues. Your primary responsibility will be to provide efficient and effective support to resolve hardware and software problems, ensuring minimal disruption to users' work.


Role & responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and software updates.
  • Assist with the setup and deployment of new hardware and software.
  • Document and track all support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams as necessary.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing timely and professional support.
  • Follow company policies and procedures for IT support and security.
  • Perform regular system maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide support for mobile devices and remote access solutions.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or similar would be an add-on advantage.
  • Basic understanding of Active Directory, User account creation, Permissions and GAL.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and supporting MS Office applications.

  • Both side cab (US Shift - 05:30pm - 02:30am IST).
  • Snacks and meal will be provided.
  • Primarily night shifts (US EST Hours), but flexibility is required to accommodate different schedules as needed.
