We are currently hiring for Cloud Automation Engineer for a Health Care - Pune
(2pm -11pm IST)
Role & responsibilities
List primary and specific job duties performed daily in order of importance.
Develop automation for system and application vulnerability patching
Develop Ansible Playbooks and scripts for adhoc patches
Design and document a standard Playbook for deploying adhoc patches
Partner with key stakeholders in managing sprints and delivering on patches required for critical environments
Participate in quartlery Agile events for planning and defining workload provided from a priority list
Use of Jira to report on completed items and metrics to demonstrate throughput
Pursues self-development and effective relationships with others by sharing resources, information, and knowledge with
coworkers and customers; listening, responding to, and seeking performance feedback; acknowledging strengths and
weaknesses; assessing and responding to the needs of others; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties,
and feedback.
As part of the IT Engineering job family, this position is responsible for leveraging DEVOPS, and both Waterfall and
Agile practices, to design, develop, and deliver resilient, secure, multi-channel, high-volume, high-transaction, on/offpremise,
cloud-based solutions.
Develops or modifies solutions by identifying technical solutions to business problems.
Collaborates with various IT Teams (e.g., database, operations, technical support) throughout system development and
implementation
Assists in providing recommendations and input on options, risks, costs, and benefits for systems designs.
Adheres to company architecture standards when developing system designs.
Evaluates existing systems to make recommendations on resources required to maintain service levels
.
Qualification :
1.5 years of Redhat Ansible Application Platform experience
1.5 years of Ansible Development Experience (ceating, developing playbooks and templates, scripting and environment)
Cloud Automation Skills knowledge and awareness
Experience in enterprise application vulnerability patching
Experience in working as part of a SAFe Agile Team
Experience with Windows and Linux platforms
Experience with CI/CD Pipeline
Experience with Jira
Experience with ServiceNow
Preferred qualification :
Redhat Engineer or Architect certification(s). Experience in RedHat engineering or Architect a plus
BigFix experience a plus
vulnerbility patching and zero day threat experience a plus
Terraform experience a plus
Scripting experience using PowerShell scripting languages.
Coding experience with one or more programming languages
Operating system or client/server utilities experience
