Job Overview:
Job descriptionWe are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Software Sales Manager with 3-5 years (an MBA grad )of experience in B2B software sales to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business, managing relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets within the Indian market. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies, identify business opportunities, and deliver solutions that meet customer needs. Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute a robust sales strategy to expand the companys footprint within the Indian market.

  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospects and close deals in the software solutions space (cloud, SaaS, enterprise software,etc.).
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and managing existing accounts.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Engage with key decision-makers at prospective and existing customer organizations.
  • Maintain long-term relationships with clients and provide them with relevant solutions and support.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all sales inquiries, building trust and delivering a personalized experience.

Market Research & Lead Generation:

    • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends and potential opportunities within Indias growing tech ecosystem.
    • Lead lead generation initiatives and collaborate with the marketing team to implement targeted campaigns.

Sales Presentations & Demos:

  • Prepare and deliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations to prospects.
  • Tailor software solutions to client requirements and conduct solution-oriented discussions.
  • Sales Reporting & Forecasting:


  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM tools (Salesforce, Zoho, etc.).
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and progress updates to senior management.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

  • Work closely with the product, pre-sales, and customer success teams to ensure seamless delivery and post-sale support.
  • Assist in developing customized proposals, pricing, and contract negotiations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B software sales, preferably in SaaS, cloud-based solutions, or enterprise software.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the Indian market.


Knowledge & Technical Skills:

  • Solid understanding of the Indian software and technology market, including customer pain points and buying behavior.
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholder
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (fluency in additional regional languages is a plus).
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to present complex solutions to C-level executives.

Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking:

  • Ability to diagnose client needs and tailor software solutions accordingly.
  • Creative problem solver with a focus on delivering value to customers.

Other Skills:

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
  • Self-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel within India for client meetings, events, and business development opportunities.
