Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Software Tester / QA Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in manual testing, including API and performance testing. You will be responsible for identifying and tracking bugs, developing test cases, and collaborating with developers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test cases based on software requirements.
- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications, as well as API testing.
- Identify, report, and track bugs using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, etc.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure product quality.
- Write and maintain test documentation, test plans, and test reports.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Required Skills:
- Experience in Manual Testing, API Testing, and Performance Testing.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Familiarity with tools like Postman, Selenium, JMeter, etc. (as per role).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Good experience with Microsoft Excel for reporting and documentation.
Good to Have:
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- ISTQB Certification is a plus.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
