Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Understand, develop, and achieve the sales target in the given territory.
  • Study the market and provide the inputs to the superiors for preparing the business plans in enhancing the sales.
  • Prepare annual action plans to meet the sales and order bookings as per the given targets.
  • Identify and build strong relationships with dealers and maintain a good rapport to get leads for Company machines.
  • Establish a good rapport with the customers and ensure that no orders are lost to the competitors.
  • Identify the potential customers and establish the business for the products under the scope.
  • Study the requirements of the customers thoroughly and provide suitable applications/solutions based on the product standards to create a long-term relationship.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to promote revenue, profitability and market share and growth.
  • Identify and support the non recurring, and unsatisfied customers, to create win-win possibilities.
  • Maintain all the required inputs in CRM and ensure an effective internal communication system.
  • Facilitate and provide required support to marketing team to organize trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events to promote the business.
  • Monitor and interpret the competitors activities and gather information on price, products, new development, delivery schedule, merchandising techniques, and develop the counter sales.
  • Develop good rapport with the cross-functional teams and ensure that the sales as per the agreed terms and conditions.
  • Ensure the collection of payment, and statutory forms as per the terms and conditions of the sales, in particular, c forms for the sales of machines whenever applicable.
  • Work closely with the service department to ensure the best after sales support and achieve customer satisfaction and get the reference for sales.
  • Develop a good rapport with the product specialist to develop the market and enhance sales.
  • Monitor and update the Salesforce timely and provide the rolling forecast of machines.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Minimum 9 years in managing and driving sales activities for a manufacturing / similar industry.
  • Technical Graduation (Mechanical or Mechatronics).
  • MBA will be an added advantage.
