Civil Draftsman

Location: Guinea/Nigeria
Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly experienced Civil Draftsman with over 10 years of expertise in civil drafting and design. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical understanding of civil engineering principles and be proficient in preparing complex engineering drawings and models for infrastructure projects. The candidate must be adept in utilizing advanced design software, interpreting complex engineering data, and ensuring that drawings are compliant with industry standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Civil Engineering Drafting:
• Prepare and revise detailed civil engineering plans, including grading, piling, drainage, roads, utilities, land development, and site infrastructure, adhering to the project's technical requirements and regulatory standards.
• Draft detailed construction drawings such as site plans, cross-sections, profiles, and schematics using advanced AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other software tools.
• Convert complex design concepts and field data into precise and accurate technical drawings for use by engineers, contractors, and construction teams.
• Design Collaboration & Coordination:
• Work closely with civil engineers and project managers to ensure technical accuracy in all design elements, including hydrology, structural loading, and materials specifications.
• Collaborate on the integration of utilities, road layouts, grading, drainage systems, and pavement designs into cohesive and compliant site plans.
• Coordinate and integrate civil designs with other engineering disciplines (e.g., structural, mechanical, electrical) to ensure proper system interfaces and project flow.
