Job Description
We are looking for a proficient UI/UX Designer to join our innovative design team. The ideal candidate should possess a sharp eye for detail and a passion for creating user-centric designs that provide exceptional digital experiences. This role emphasises the importance of producing comprehensive UI/UX solutions that are both visually appealing and functionally effective.
Responsibilities
- User-Centric Design: Develop user-centric designs by understanding business requirements, user feedback, and usability findings.
- Design Artifacts: Create user flows, wireframes, sitemaps, prototypes, and mock-ups to effectively communicate design ideas.
- Style Guides and Design Systems: Translate requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns, and attractive user interfaces.
- UI Elements: Design UI elements such as input controls, navigational components, and informational components with a keen focus on usability and aesthetics.
- Graphic Design: Create original graphic designs (e.g., images, sketches, and tables) that enhance the overall user experience.
- Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness) and provide creative solutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, and management teams to ensure cohesive and seamless design delivery.
- Feedback Integration: Incorporate customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design iterations to enhance user experience.
- Design Accuracy: Ensure all UI/UX design outputs meet high standards of design heuristics, such as hierarchy, spacing, consistency, and accessibility.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional experience in UI/UX design.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your best work, clearly highlighting your contributions and design process.
- Proficiency in Tools: Expertise in designing and prototyping tools, primarily - Figma. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator and Photoshop) is required.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Rigorous attention to detail and a drive to defend user-centric designs with intent.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas, designs, and suggestions.
- Collaboration: Enjoys collaboration and values feedback from team members and stakeholders.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
