Job Description
Instructional Designer (10+ Years Experience) Pharma Projects
Location: Remote on contract for 6 months to start.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Instructional Designer with 10+ years of expertise in instructional design, e-learning development, and curriculum creation, specifically within pharmaceutical and life sciences projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of adult learning principles, compliance training, and digital learning solutions tailored for the pharma industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop instructionally sound training solutions for pharma clients, including e-learning, instructor-led training (ILT), and blended learning.
- Collaborate with SMEs, medical writers, and regulatory teams to ensure accurate and compliant content.
- Apply instructional design models (ADDIE, Blooms Taxonomy, etc.) to create engaging learning experiences.
- Develop content using LMS platforms, e-learning tools (Articulate, Captivate), and multimedia solutions.
- Manage project timelines, stakeholder communication, and quality assurance for learning deliverables.
- Stay updated with pharmaceutical industry regulations and ensure training aligns with compliance requirements.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in instructional design, with a focus on pharma or life sciences training.
- Strong knowledge of learning theories, adult learning principles, and compliance-driven training.
- Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, etc.).
- Experience working with LMS platforms and SCORM-compliant content.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including medical, compliance, and regulatory experts.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent communication and content development skills.
