Job Description

Risk Assessment: Evaluate insurance applications and associated documents toassess the risk profile of clients. Analyze factors such as business operations,financials, claims history, and industry trends to determine the level of risk.Client Consultation: Collaborate with clients to understand their insurance needs, goals, and constraints. Provide professional advice on insurance options and coverage strategies.Policy Placement: Work with insurance carriers to negotiate and secure insurance policies that align with clients & #39; requirements. Ensure policies are issued accurately and in a timely manner.Premium Negotiation: Negotiate premium rates, terms, and conditions with insurancecarriers to obtain the best possible coverage at competitive prices for clients.Documentation: Prepare and review insurance documentation, including applications, policy contracts, and endorsements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with client needs and regulations.Client Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships. Provide ongoing support, including policy renewals, endorsements, and claims assistance.Claims Assistance: Assist clients in the claims process by liaising with insurance carriers and claims adjusters to ensure prompt and fair claims settlements.Compliance: Stay informed about insurance regulations and compliance requirements to ensure that client insurance programs adhere to legal standards.Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of client interactions, policies, and other relevant documentsCoordinate with Insurance Companies for issuance of insurance policies based on approved terms and conditionsEnsure that once a policy is issued and received from Insurance company quality checking being done immediately and communicate with Insurance company for any corrections / additions. Corrections / additions to be done within five working dayQualifications and Requirements: Bachelor & degree in insurance, business, finance, or a related field (preferred).Minimum 2 years of experience working as an Underwriter focused on GeneralInsurance Products
