Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Manager HR & Admin
Location: Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh
Reporting to: Regional Business Head / Corporate HR
Department: Human Resources & Admin
Circle Coverage: Andhra Pradesh Circle

Key Responsibilities:


Human Resources:

  • Manage end-to-end employee life cycle activities (recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, transfers, exits) at the regional level.
  • Ensure timely manpower fulfillment through coordination with internal teams and recruitment agencies.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HRIS for the region.
  • Ensure smooth induction and orientation for new joiners.
  • Support implementation of performance management systems and processes.
  • Facilitate employee engagement initiatives, reward & recognition programs, and training activities.
  • Address employee grievances and escalate issues to Corporate HR when required.
  • Ensure statutory compliance with labor laws (PF, ESI, Minimum Wages, CLRA, etc.) in coordination with compliance partners or agencies.
  • Coordinate with contract labor vendors for documentation, attendance, and compliance.
  • Monitor attendance, leaves, and discipline for regional employees.

Administration:

  • Supervise regional office premises, facilities management, and security arrangements.
  • Manage housekeeping, travel bookings, accommodation arrangements, and vehicle logistics.
  • Ensure office equipment, stationery, and supplies are available and maintained.
  • Coordinate with local authorities for administrative permissions and liaison.
  • Monitor utility payments, vendor bills, and petty cash expenses.
  • Desired Candidate Profile:
  • Qualification: MBA (HR) / MSW / PG in HR or equivalent.
  • Experience: 47 years of relevant experience in HR & Administration, preferably in Telecom / Energy / Infrastructure / Manufacturing sectors.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance is a must.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HRMS systems.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills in English and Telugu.
  • Strong coordination, people management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel within the circle (as needed).

Travel: As per project/site needs across Andhra Pradesh
