- About Company: We are hiring for a stealth startup in the AI and LLM (Large Language Models) space. Their mission is to create intelligent systems that integrate voice-based interactive technologies, chatbots, and AI-powered web applications, enabling seamless human-computer interaction. Founded by someone who co-authored 8 US patents and was an early engineer (3rd US employee) at a blockchain identity startup acquired by Workday, they are building a next-gen AI-driven platform. They are now assembling a founding team to drive their product development and vision. Role Overview: As the Python Backend Architect/Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our backend infrastructure. Youll work closely with the founder to implement AI solutions, integrate LLMs, and design scalable backend systems for our core AI products. This role offers you the unique opportunity to be a founding member of the engineering team and help shape the companys future. Key Responsibilities: Backend Development: Architect and develop high-performance, scalable backend systems to support our AI-driven applications. AI Integration: Implement and optimize AI models like LLMs for voice-based systems, chatbots, and web apps. System Design: Lead the design of complex backend systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security. Infrastructure Management: Set up and manage cloud environments (AWS/GCP) using tools like Docker and other relevant technologies. Collaboration: Work closely with AI/ML teams to deploy models in production environments. Technical Leadership: Provide guidance on best practices, code quality, and system design across the team. Required Qualifications: Education: B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 4+ years of backend development experience with Python. Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in Python. Experience designing and building high-throughput, scalable systems. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP. Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker. Strong understanding of REST APIs and database systems like MySQL, MongoDB, and emerging technologies like vectorDB. AI Enthusiasm: Eagerness to learn and work with AI technologies, including LLMs and prompt engineering. System Design: Proven ability to design and maintain robust backend infrastructures.
