Summary role description: Hiring for AWS technical architect for a global Systems Integration / IT Services major Company description: Our client is a is a global Systems Integration, IT Services, Consulting and Digital Solutions company, that helps hundreds of customers secure competitive advantage through technology. A tenured Technology major, our client has grown at phenomenal speed over the past few years, with cloud solutions, including cloud-native development being a major driver . Role details: Title / Designation : AWS technical architect Location: Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Noida, Mumbai Work mode: Hybrid (3/2 in office) Role & responsibilities: AWS Expertise: Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for AWS services, providing technical guidance and hands-on support across multiple teams. Problem Solving: Collaborate with various teams to clear impediments and resolve technical blockades in projects. Team Support: Advise teams on project needs, improvements, and upskilling where necessary. CI/CD Guidance: Provide support and direction on CI/CD practices and implementation, ensuring smooth development and deployment cycles. Tech Stack: Work primarily with Python or Java and offer solutions based on these languages. Best Practices: Implement and promote AWS best practices, ensuring that the architecture aligns with organizational goals and compliance standards. Technical Coaching: Lead and coach teams in AWS technical skills, Test-Driven Development (TDD), DevOps practices, and Agile methodologies to foster growth and efficiency. Collaboration: Liaise with US counterparts when necessary to align strategies and resolve cross-functional issues. Candidate requirements: Experience: 11-16 years of experience, with a strong focus on AWS architecture and services with Java technologies Technical Skills: Proficient in AWS, CI/CD pipelines, Python/Java, TDD, DevOps, and Agile methodologies. Leadership: Hands-on experience in coaching and mentoring teams on technical best practices. Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact with multiple teams and stakeholders.
