Job Description


Purpose of the Role: As a Regional HR for the UK, you will play a pivotal role in motivating and engaging Associates at Tech Mahindra. You will oversee all stages of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, compensation, benefits, policies, and offboarding. Your efforts will contribute to making Tech Mahindra a preferred workplace in the UK. Additionally, you will ensure statutory compliance and develop expertise in regional employment laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the custodian of the Associate handbook for the UK, collaborating with the Policy & Benefits team to periodically review and upgrade it.
  • Address complex Associate queries that are beyond the scope of the Shared Services team and provide training to enhance their proficiency.
  • Manage changes arising from regulatory, policy, or process updates.
  • Partner with regional leaders on people agendas, including career planning and restructuring.
  • Handle HR aspects of grievances, appeals, disciplinary matters, and other potentially contentious cases, ensuring adherence to Staff Regulations and Rules, policies, and relevant legal principles.
  • Drive initiatives for Associate Engagement, assess the effectiveness of existing programs, and experiment with new ones.
  • Lead country level initiatives making Tech Mahindra a preferred choice of employer in UK

Qualifications:

  • Relevant education at the Master's level, such as an MBA in HR or any equivalent/relevant Master's degree.
  • 1-5 years of experience in various HR roles, Regional HR, including HR COE, HR Business Partner, C&B, Talent Management, L&D, or HR Operations.

  • Understanding of UK region will be a plus, not must and not a deciding factor)
