Job Description

Collaborate with department heads to understand hiring needs.

Lead recruitment drives, campus hiring, and onboarding processes.

Maintain manpower planning in alignment with production goals.

Implement engagement activities to improve morale and reduce attrition.

Handle employee grievances with a proactive and empathetic approach.
-
Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and develop action plans accordingly.
-
Oversee performance appraisal cycles and goal-setting processes.
-
Train line managers on feedback and performance discussions.
-
Identify and support top talent and succession planning.
-
Identify skill gaps and coordinate technical/soft skill training programs.
-
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
-
Ensure compliance with labor laws and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards.

Maintain cordial relations with labor unions and manage collective bargaining (if applicable).
-
Handle disciplinary actions as per company policy and legal norms.
-
Maintain HRIS, employee records, and reports.
-
Oversee payroll processing and benefits administration.
-
Manage attendance, leave policies, and shift schedules.
-
Strong knowledge of labor laws (Factories Act, ESI, PF, etc.)

Experience in union handling and IR (preferred in plant settings)

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage HR in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Familiarity with HRMS and Microsoft Office tools

Prior experience in automotive manufacturing or allied industries (e.g., auto parts, engineering, heavy machinery)

Exposure to ISO/TS, IATF, or other automotive quality standards is a plus.
